This is a small part of the work that I did for the Tangiers Casino as a UX Designer.

Previously to joining the UX Team, I worked as a Senior Front-end Engineer at Pathwway on the same project. My switch to UX came because of a request from our Project Manager. The table above reflects the roles I've filled and technologies used.

Tangiers is only one of the online casinos from the project's continuous development, which were about two dozen at that time. The gallery bellow shows a few unimplemented re-designed features for Tangiers Casino. Everything else is, sadly, under strict NDA.

This project was completed at Pathwwway.

These are a few of the casino promotion landing pages and banners that I've designed while working at path Pathwwway.

The promotions were implemented and included inside the bingo and casino websites as static html, and each banner(featured at the top of the design) reworked in a few layouts and sizes for placement on the websites ( and affiliate) and newsletters/notifications.

Previously to joining the UX Team, I worked as a Senior Front-end Engineer at Pathwway on the same project. My switch to UX came because of a request from our Project Manager.

The gallery bellow shows a few of the intermediate(not final) designs. Everything else is, sadly, under strict NDA.

SEISME is DJ Podcast focusing on electronic music - Break-beats, Drum&Bass, Electronic Funk and UK-Garage with a Romanian target audience, hosted by nowhitespace.

The podcast was initially going to be hosted on Mixcloud.com. As I was developing the branding and visual style, he decided to also have me develop a web app that hosts and streams the podcast. The app is soon to be live this summer, and this is one of the mockups for the UI.

Trip Solutions is a travel software developer based in the UK and Romania. This is where's I've had the pleasure to work and sharpen my skills for about 5 years.

I worked with Trip solutions for 5 years as a designer and front-end developer. I've designed and developed everything from travel agency websites to custom icons, complex booking UIs to flight tickets and Trip Solution's own brand and websites.

I've also designed the previous iteration of this website, but the design language we were growing into warranted a fresh new look for our own online presence.

The website is mostly static on the back-end and it features a light, mobile-first front-end with striking colour but less distraction. Keeping with the mobile-first philosopy is also the full-screen navigation menu that preserves its simple mobile layout, even on desktop resolutions.

Candycam.shop is a photography-oriented web shop that ships cameras and related accesories around the world.

The website uses Wordpress with the WooCommerce plugin and a modified version of the Storefront theme.

I designed the branding, installed and tweaked the Wordpress instalation and modified the theme to better represent the brand. The UI is simplified and straight-forward for a streamlined shopping experience. And mobile-friendly, of course.

The single challege I came up against was theme hooks, as the concept didn't really exist 3-4 years ago when I've first learned to develop for Wordpress. But that was easily remedied in a few days, and I quickly managed to get up to speed on the latest best practices.

GoWild Affiliates is the affiliate website for GoWild and other sister online brands.

I only worked as a front-end developer while at Premium IT Technologies and on this project, but I did make an effort to work very closely with the UX department and the designers. That being said, most of the interaction design and all of the front-end implementation is my own work.

This project was completed at Premium IT Technologies.

I was tasked with creating a new, modern design for Goaway & Czeck-It-Out's website that was to be responsive and take advange of the new web technologies.

I started by refreshing the brand image and implementing a clean grid-like structure aided by bold typography and broken up by a wave-like graphic to add some graphical movement.

Sadly, the project didn't move forward past the mockup stage for various business reasons, although it received very good feedback.

Christian Tour is one of the main tour operators in Romania. They aproached us with building a new B2B app for their brand new Moldavia branch.

We knew we didn't want to base it on CHR's existing B2B web app, since it was showing its age and it needed to be updated or redone.

Our solution was to present a whole new UI based on their newly refresed identity and take advantage of new technology. This also enabled us to quickly turn over a version for their main, aging B2B app.

I developed the new design and UI, and implemented the front-end markup (AngularJS templates) and CSS. The UI is based on Angular UI and Bootstrap.

This project was completed at Trip Solutions.

The Swiss Holiday Websites provide varied premium holidays in Switzeland. The Swiss Holiday Company are the premier tour operator in the UK that focus on Switzeland holidays.

They requested us to redesign their websites (swissholidayco.com, swissskico.com), and I was in charge of the new designs and front-end implementation.

My design strategy was to keep a minimalistic feel for the websites but use typography and color to achieve better texture.

The website is built on top of the new Trip Solutions CMS (eDitto) and I also worked closely with my colleague that integrated the markup to the CMS system.

This project was completed while I was employed at Trip Solutions.

Etrip Agency is a web-based booking management software for smaller travel agencies and independent travel agents. The software integrates with the Trip Solutions flight booking API and some of their partner tour operator's APIs.

My role in the project was to design and implement a new, user-friendly UI that was also usable on mobile devices. Because the software is rather complex, I had to design a system of consistent but flexible modules and clearly separate the navigation from actions.

I did a lot of work on optimizing user paths and trying to mimize user error. As a result, the UI is almost universaly acclaimed by our clients as being simple, understandable and effective.

This project was completed at Trip Solutions.

This is a bunch of bits and bobs that I'm either working at with a leaisurely pace on my own (or have already abandoned) but might help somebody else.
